The Nutshell! 2019 Auditions
Mannakin Theater and Dance is holding auditions in Salt Lake City and San Francisco for professional dancers with excellent ballet technique for our third annual production of The Nutshell! We are seeking up to six (6) dancers per city for The Waltz of the Snowflakes and other divertissements.
Please send resume and headshot with the subject line “Audition SLC” or “Auditions SF” to traci@mannakindance.org for more details and receipt of location and time. Be prepared to stay for up to 3 hours. Audition will begin with a ballet class. Selected dancers will be asked to stay to learn choreography.
Rehearsals are paid by the hour in addition to the fee per performance.
Salt Lake City, UT — November 21, 2019 – evening in downtown SLC
Mandatory performance date is November 30th at 8:00pm. Contract will include two or three rehearsals the week of the show. (No rehearsal Thanksgiving day) Potential for selected dancers to perform in multiple shows.
Rehearsals will be held at The Rose Wagner Theater and scheduled after the audition. Pay: $15/hr for rehearsals + $100/show
San Francisco, CA — Friday November 15, 2019 – location TBA
Mandatory performance date is December 13th. Contract details will be discussed at audition.
