Job Overview
The Assistant Director of Education is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily educational programs and initiatives within en Avant School, an outreach academy bringing high quality dance opportunities and tutoring to youth from underserved families.

This position requires a visionary leader who can strategically manage educational operations in close cooperation with the Director of Education. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dance pedagogy, academics and communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct classes in ballet and other dance forms as principal teacher for academy.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and stakeholders to ensure curriculum is carried out in accord with company mission.
• Evaluate program effectiveness through data analysis and feedback mechanisms to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to educators, fostering professional development opportunities.
• Engage in strategic planning to identify future educational needs and opportunities for growth.
• Represent the organization at conferences, workshops, and community events to promote educational initiatives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
