Costume Rental/Purchase
Those who wish to perform require an additional purchase or rental of costume. The “soloist” and “corps” programs will require two costumes, with the following additional fees:
- $85 Costume Rental (2 costumes)
- $225 Costume Purchase (2 Costumes)
Those participating in the add-on “Etoile” workshops will not incur an additional costume fee. For those dancers wishing to only take the “Etoile” workshop, the costume fee will be charged as follows:
- $50 Costume Rental (1 Costume)
- $125 Costume Purchase (1 Costume)
Performance is NOT mandatory.

Nathan Cottam
Nathan Cottam founded Mannakin Theater & Dance in 2013 and has led the company in performances at the SF War Memorial and Performing Arts Center, SF Legion of Honor, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Salt Lake City’s Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center and on tours throughout the United States and the Republic of Serbia. Nathan has spent thousands of hours in dance studios both as a teacher and student. He holds a Master of Fine Art from the prestigious University of Arizona School of Dance and is the only non-Serbian dancer to perform the lead role of the Singer in the Serbian National Ballet’s signature work “Who is Singing Over There?” based on Serbian film Ko to Tamo Peva?
Traci Finch
Traci Finch lives in San Francisco, CA and currently assistant directs and dances with Mannakin Theater & Dance. Traci spent ten years in New York City, dancing with The Suzanne Farrell Ballet, New Chamber Ballet, and CelloPointe. Recent projects have included guesting with Les Grands Ballet Canadiens; dancing in Signals from the West, Bay Area Artists in Conversation with Merce Cunningham at 100; and Marco Pelle’s T+I at Lake Tahoe Dance Festival. She has performed classical and neoclassical ballets with Neglia Ballet in Buffalo, NY. Originally from Utah, Traci graduated from Brigham Young University with her BA in Dance.
Traci has choreographed work presented in New York City, San Francisco, Seattle, and Lake Tahoe. She currently teaches at en Avant Dance in East Palo Alto and is guest faculty member at Tahoe Youth Ballet. She has taught around the United States in New York, Utah, California, Nevada, New Jersey, and Montana.
Marcus Buegler
With dance knowledge covering a wide range of techniques, Marcus has taught and choreographed in dance schools, camps, and conventions across the US; notably, University of Nevada Las Vegas, Lindenwood University, and Utica College. He has danced with the St. Louis Muny Opera, Harkness Youth Dancers, Harkness Ballet, Joffrey II, Eglevsky Ballet, and the Metropolitan Opera, where he was also Dance Captain and Ballet Rehearsal Assistant, before becoming Répétiteur in 2001. In 2003, he joined the artistic management team of Cirque du Soleil, opening Zumanity in Las Vegas. He has been on the staff of the ANBT, the Las Vegas Dance Academy and the Rock Center for Dance, as well as becoming Ballet Master for Lake Havasu Ballet. He restaged and added choreography for the opera Die Fledermaus for the Seiji Ozawa Music Academy Opera Project (2003, 2008, 2016 and 2022) and The Queen of Spades for the Saito Kinen Festival Matsumoto (2007). Onstage performances include Stepsister (Cinderella), Herr Drosselmeyer (The Nutcracker), Dance Master (Swan Lake), Priest (Dracula) among others for Nevada Ballet Theatre, and Widow Simone (La Fille mal gardée), Dr. Coppelius (Coppélia), Captain Hook (Peter Pan) among others for Academy of Nevada Ballet Theatre.

The mission of Mannakin Theater & Dance is to expand the world of the performing arts by inviting new individuals and demographics to rich and exciting experiences in the theater seats, inside the classroom and learning studio, and underneath the stage lights. We believe that by opening the tent of the premier performing arts to the broadest swath of people and cultures possible that new audiences are created, fresh voices are heard and all people are lifted as ships on a rising tide, to ever greater heights of human creativity and achievement.
